Ryan Cornish
Ryan Cornish, talented singer/songwriter, was born in 1991 and grew up on his family’s beef cattle property in country South Australia. He has been interested in music and singing from an early age and has performed at a number of local concerts and events.
After attending the local school until Year 10, Ryan completed his secondary education in Adelaide. At the end of his final year he was presented with the school’s music studies award.
Returning to work on the family property, Ryan continues to develop his talent in music, singing and songwriting. Strong motivation has seen Ryan fly to Sydney to write with well known writers including Bill Chambers allowing him to improve his writing skills and technique further.
Ryan’s love for the country way of life, its music and its people continues to inspire him to pursue his musical career and is now gaining him wider recognition. Ryan’s achievements to date:-

- Provided the entertainment at Volunteers Celebration and Recognition Event – May 10th
- Murraylands Music Festival Talent Quest – 1st place Senior Male Vocal
- CMSA 1st place Senior Male
- CMSA Senior Champion of Champions runner up
2011
- Riverland Country Music Festival – 1st place Senior Male
- CCMA 3rd in Senior Gospel at Tamworth Music Festival
- Performed on Telstra Stage and in many pubs at Tamworth Music Festival
- Performed at various Country Music Festivals around the State
- CMSA 1st place Senior Male
- CMSA Senior Champion of Champions runner up
2012
- CCMA 2nd overall male vocalist at Tamworth Music Festival
- Guest Spots on Bill Chamber’s show and Kevin Bennett’s show at ‘The Pub’ during Tamworth Music Festival
