The DEE-ELLS are Rita and Robbie Dalzell. Hailing from Glasgow and arriving in Australia in 1965, they have been performing Folk and Country Music since the early 1960s. THE DEE-ELLS have performed in pubs, clubs, private functions and many Country Music Festivals in Australia. Robbie is a songwriter of note and has won acclaim throughout Australia. He has been the winner of many country song writing competitions. This Album features eleven of his songs. It also involves some of the fine musicians who frequent The South Coast Folk Club in Port Noarlunga, South Australia, including Chris Finnen, Blues guitarist extraordinaire.

In 2005 there were pictures of Rita and Robbie on the Frances Folk Gathering Website but have since been removed.

Robbie won second and third in the SACCM Modern Section with"Sitting in the Car" and "Two timing Blues" in the 2005 APRA South Australian Song of the Year Awards, announced at Showcase 2005 November 19th.

Sadly it was also announced that Robbie had recently passed away.
