The group was formed over several years. We play bluegrass music and try to keep it true. We just love playing it that way. The Floodplain Boys have played supports on several occasions for bands such as Grassroots, and have also appeared at The Folk Fed, and at S.A. Country Music venues around Adelaide.

Elias Evangelistis. (banjo, mandolin, lead vocals) "Lou" as he is known, is the primary musical director influenced mainly by traditional bluegrass music.

Paul Cooper.(mandolin, banjo, vocals) Paul is originally from Sydney and joined the boys via the S.A. Bluegrass Association. The innate lure of bluegrass fuels his natural musical ability. Paul just wants to play!
