Maryanne & Co was established in 1992 and decided to focus on country music in 1993. We have played many places and with many various artists. Some of our more prominent gigs have been playing for The South Australian Tourism Awards, The Olympic Torch Ceremony, The year of the Outback Cattle Drive and . We have also been support act for people like Lee Kernaghan, Gina Jefferies, Craig Giles, Johnny Mac and Slim Dusty (at one of his last major concerts) as well as working with many prominent others. We go to Tamworth every year and have 'standing' gig at which we play at for the 10 days of the Festival.
We thoroughly enjoy working the South Australian Country Music clubs as we always know that the people attending are there only to hear country music which is our love.
One of our favourite clubs is 'Open House Country', held at the Parafield Gardens Community club. Ian and Anne-Marie along with all the other committee members and members always make us feel special and very welcome. That was our major reason for choosing 'Open House Country' to launch our CD.
Unfortunately the CD release was be delayed due to the sad passing of our much loved and valued rhythm guitar player, Terry Franks.
Terry wrote the 3 original songs that are on the CD.
