Helen Ellis (vocals), Terry Bradford (acoustic guitar/vocals) and Dale Ackland (chromatic harp) make up the Adelaide based original music trio, the Texettes.

Terry and Helen are part of the original 5 piece band that formed in 2000 and Dixie joined in 2007.  To celebrate this milestone, “The Lady & the Tramp”  album, featuring 16 new original songs, was released in April 2009.

With over 50 original recorded songs to their credit, the Texettes repertoire encompasses a wide range of styles  and is best described by Mike Parkes (88.7FM Kicking Country), who said....“the Texettes are a group that is virtually impossible to pigeonhole…..mellow, bluesy, pop, jazzy, country….a whole lot of things”.

This diversity of their music and a passion to perform,  makes the Texettes an ideal acoustic trio for fundraising, corporate gigs, music festivals and guest spots.  They love live performance and will perform their original music to anyone, anytime, anywhere!
