Seventeen year old Emily Reed from Port Pirie in SA is the new South Australian Senior Champion of Champions. Emily Reed's win was announced tonight at The Burnside Town Hall - the venue for the event.

Emily Reed's prize pool included $500 cash, $1000 worth of RM Williams clothing, one day of recording time at John Reynolds Music City, $200 worth of photography by Captured Images, appearances at the Queensland Champion of Champions event in Brisbane, Buttercup Concerts in Tamworth and most of the country music clubs in South Australia. Emily will also be given career development support from South Australian industry professionals.

The SA Champion of Champions event is an initiative of the South Australian Council for Country Music.

The 2005 Junior Champion of Champions was Tiffney Stroh from Mt Barker in SA. Tiffney has just returned from the Junior CMAA College, Camerata, which is held in Tamworth. She attended as the 2005 recipient of the Cindy Shelton Memorial Scholarship.
